Company discovery

How Réson finds and verifies information about your business.

When you give Réson a name or a website, it looks for public information about your business and reads the pages it finds.

What Réson looks for

  • What you do, and for whom
  • Products and services
  • Location, hours and contact details
  • Your visual identity (logo and colours) and tone of voice

Evidence, not guesses

Facts are only recorded as supported when Réson can point to the passage that supports them. Anything it infers without a source is recorded as a suggestion and is never treated as fact until you confirm it.

When Réson finds the wrong business

If the result isn't you, choose Not quite. Add your website or a sentence about what you do, and Réson will try again.

Limits

Réson only reads public web pages, and it skips addresses that aren't normal public websites. Some sites block automated reading; if that happens, paste a few sentences or upload a file instead.
