Importing ChatGPT conversations
Reuse what you've already explained to ChatGPT — on your terms.
If you've used ChatGPT to talk through your business, those conversations can save you a lot of explaining.
Get your export
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Data controls → Export data. You'll receive an email with a .zip file. Claude exports work too.
Upload it
Drop the .zip (or the conversations.json file inside it) into Réson. Exports up to 60 MB are accepted.
Review before anything is learned
Import happens in two steps you control:
- Review. Réson reads the export and sorts conversations into business-relevant and personal. Nothing is learned yet.
- Learn. You choose which conversations to learn from. Réson extracts facts from those only.
For very large exports, Réson reviews the most recent 300 conversations.
How AI replies are treated
Only what you wrote is treated as your statement. ChatGPT's replies are treated as AI-written text, never as facts about your business.
Privacy
The raw export is kept privately only until you've made your selection, then deleted.
